Meet the Founders of Veteran Buds: Veteran Cannabis Wellness

Hello and welcome to the Veteran Buds community! We are thrilled to embark on this journey with you and to introduce ourselves, the founders behind Veteran Buds.

My name is Korri Thomas, and along with my business partner, Garet Avery, we created Veteran Buds to provide high-quality cannabis products that cater to the unique needs of veterans and the Aboriginal community. As proud Canadian Forces veterans and Aboriginal entrepreneurs, our mission is deeply personal and rooted in our experiences.

Both Garet and I are veterans of Afghanistan, the very place where our paths first crossed. As Military Policemen, we forged a bond through shared experiences and the immense challenges of our service. We have both faced significant obstacles, including the battle with PTSD. Our journey through recovery and our commitment to supporting others in similar situations have been the driving forces behind the vision for Veteran Buds. This mission is not just about creating a product but about building a community where wellness and support are paramount. We will take the time to profile all our staff in more depth in the near future!
